Seaford High School Wins Nassau Title, Eyes LI Championship
The Vikings will go on to play Shoreham-Wading River, which just beat Mt. Sinai in the Suffolk Division IV championship.

SEAFORD, NY — The Seaford High School football team has been crowned the Nassau County Conference IV champions and will go on to play in the Long Island championship following a hard-fought win over Cold Spring Harbor.
The Vikings (10-1) won 14-8 on Saturday at Hofstra University's James M. Shuart Stadium in Hempstead. Their only loss in the season was to Cold Spring Harbor earlier in the year.
It's the school's 10th county title, according to Newsday.

"We have a really strong will and this is something we wanted very badly," offensive lineman and linebacker Tim Russell told the newspaper after the game. "We weren’t going to give in. We didn't feel good about losing that earlier game. We didn’t feel good about losing this [championship] game to them last year. There was no way they were going to want it more than us."
The team even got a shout-out from outgoing U.S. Rep. Pete King, who lives in Seaford.
