The Jiffy Lube on 3848 Merrick Road in Seaford held its kickoff event on Feb. 15 for the Heartland Automotive Services Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) benefit that lasts until March 31. Heartland Automotive Services is America’s largest Jiffy Lube franchisee.
Heartland Jiffy Lube service centers in the Long Island and New York City metropolitan area began the company’s third annual Shamrock campaign on Feb. 9. All Heartland Jiffy Lube service center locations offer guests special customer discounts in exchange for a donation to support the MDA campaign.
“Heartland has been a tremendous addition to our national sponsor program for Shamrocks,” said Kevin Moran, MDA’s executive vice president for business development. “Through their support, and that of their loyal and valued customers, Jiffy Lube Shamrock sales will help us continue to fund vital research and services for families affected. Heartland’s program with us makes it simple for anyone to have positive impact in their community.”
Through the end of March, Heartland Jiffy Lube service centers will sell green, gold and platinum shamrocks for $1, $3 and $5 to guests. These shamrocks feature valuable guest offers of $5, $10 and $15 off oil changes.
“Our teammates are excited to get the 2013 MDA Shamrocks Against Dystrophy program underway,” said Rob Rajkowski, chief marketing officer for Heartland Automotive Services. “Over the years, many of us have had the privilege to witness firsthand how MDA helps families, and we look forward to sharing their stories with our guests, and being an integral part in changing lives for the better.”
