Man Dies In Medical Emergency Driving On Ocean Parkway
The 61-year-old victim drove his vehicle across the highway and into the wooded area.

WANTAGH, NY — A 61-year-old man is dead after a medical emergency sent his vehicle on Ocean Parkway into the woods Thursday afternoon, state police confirmed to Patch.
Police say the car was traveling west on Ocean Parkway just after 2 p.m., when the victim lost control, crossing over to the eastbound side, before landing in the brush on the shoulder.
No passengers were in the vehicle and no other cars were involved in the accident.

The man was pronounced dead a short time later at Nassau University Medical Center.
