Spots Still Available for Wantagh Future Stars Basketball Camp

That there are still spots available for the Future Stars Basketball camp at Wantagh High School. The camp runs from June 24 to June 28 with the girls session from 9 a.m. to noon and boys session from 1 to 4 p.m. Walk ups can sign up during the first day of camp on June 24 from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. for girls and 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. for boys. For further information, call 359-7730 or 457-5665 Registration for the 2013 Future Stars basketball camp will be taking place this Saturday morning at Wantagh High School. The camp, which is now in its 11th year, is scheduled to run from June 24-28 at Wantagh High School and is open to boys and girls enrolled in the Wantagh Public Schools entering grades four through eight. A signup table will be set up in the Wantagh High School main lobby from 9 a.m.- 11 a.m. Saturday. Registration is also available at Endzone Sports on 3935 Merrick Road in Seaford, which is sponsoring the camp, or by emailing tina@endzonesportsli.com. The Future Stars camp is run by longtime Wantagh varsity girls basketball head coach Stan Bujacich and former Warrior boys varsity basketball head Rick Leek. Current and former Wantagh basketball players will be providing instruction.
