Steve Miller Band To Play Jones Beach In Summer 2020

WANTAGH, NY — Steve Miller Band and Marty Stuart and the Superlatives are coming to Jones Beach this summer as part of their 2020 Americana Tour that will hit cities across the country. The show will play at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on Aug. 8.

In a tweet, Steve Miller Band said: "Get ready for an unforgettable night of music in your city!"

Steve Miller Band shot to fame in the 1970s and continued charting hits into the 1980s. Its popular songs include "Abracadabra," "The Joker," "Fly Like An Eagle," and "Rock'n me."

Miller said in a statement to Rolling Stone that touring with Marty and the Superlatives is "inspirational."

"This is undoubtedly one of the most talented touring combinations I've ever been involved in," he said. "We look forward to continuing working together to explore the roots of American music."

Stuart called touring with the Steve Miller Band "magical."

"It is indeed an honor to go across the nation with Steve and the Steve Miller Band," he said.
