WANTAGH, NY — A Wantagh High School student has been infected with the coronavirus, the district posted on their website, causing a district-wide closure on Friday.

New York authorities require school to be shut down for 24 hours after learning of a coronavirus infection.

The closure includes all before, after and evening activities.
