The Wantagh School District is pleased to announce that the New York State School Music Association has selected high school student-musicians Daniel Hirsch and Monique Fiscella to attend the NYSSMA Winter Conference to be held at Eastman Theater in Rochester, New York from December 3-6.

Thousands of students auditioned for this prestigious honor during solo and ensemble festivals throughout the state. Daniel will play the trumpet with the All-State Jazz Ensemble and Monique, who is a soprano, will sing with the All-State Chorus. Dan has also been selected as an alternate for the All-State Wind Ensemble.

The district congratulates these students, who will have the opportunity to play with the finest student-musicians in New York State.
