Grand Larceny
On  Oct. 24, a Seaford resident was victimized by a phone scam in which a caller claimed to be a LIPA representative, police said. Â
Petty Larceny
On Oct. 26, cooking oil was taken from Jin Jin Garden on Merrick Road in Seaford, police said. The theft occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 12:18 p.m.
DWI
On Oct. 26, Flushing man was arrested at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Sunrise Highway in Wantagh and was charged with DWI, police said.
