Launched in 2002 by the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness and promoting new initiatives helping to keep patients safe as they get health care.
A wide range of national and local organizations including Pulse CPSEA conduct activities aimed at highlighting the importance of patient safety and discussing areas of progress and work still to be done. Pulse fully supports the program and encourages everyone to learn how to stay protected while in medical care.

Pulse offers a variety of training courses and discussion groups that give people the tools to keep themselves and their families safer.
Zumba is a fun way to get in shape, and all proceeds — including those from the raffles that will be held on the day — go to support Pulse’s community education efforts to keep us all safe from medical error when we’re getting health care.
“Take one of my classes and I guarantee you will have so much fun that you forget you are working out,” Keron says on her website. http://kerondaum.zumba.com/
