Washington Heights Apartment Building Sells For $13M, Report Says
The Wadsworth Avenue building contains 54 apartment units.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A Washington Heights apartment complex is set to change hands in a multi-million dollar real estate deal, according to a report.
The 54-unit apartment building at 221 Wadsworth Avenue, located between West 183rd and 184th streets, was recently sold for $13.2 million, real estate publication REBusiness Online first reported. The sale of the building was brokered by Cignature Realty and the buyers and sellers are currently unknown, according to the report.
The previous owner of the building, an entity called 222 Wadsworth Re, LLC, acquired the apartment complex for $7.9 million in 2015, according to public real estate records.

The apartment building was built in 1928 and contains 54 units, REBusiness Online reported. The building contains 41,736 square feet of apartment space, which means the average unit in the building is about 772 square feet large.
