Washington Heights Buildings Sell For $11.5M
Two neighboring buildings on Wadsworth Avenue sold for $4 million more than what the previous owner paid in 2014.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Two adjacent Washington Heights rental buildings sold recently for $11.5 million, according to public real estate records. The sale represented a huge increase in value for the property, which was purchased by its previous owner in 2014.
Real estate development firm Alchemy Ventures scooped up 82 and 84 Wadsworth Ave. from an entity named Wadsworth 82 LLC in a deal that closed in September, according to real estate records. An entity named 82-84 Wadsworth Avenue NY LLC is the new owner of the buildings, but records list the buyer's address as belonging to Alchemy Ventures.
The previous owner of 82 and 84 Wadsworth Ave was real estate investor Shaul Kopelowitz, according to signatures on real estate documents. Kopelowitz bought the properties for $7.4 million in 2014, according to public real estate records.
