East Village Restaurant 'Merica NYC Will Serve Donald Trump Burger Made of Cow Butt

The "T-Rump Mexican Burger" features cow butt, pepperjack, and a "wall" of grilled mushrooms, onions, and peppers.

EAST VILLAGE, NY — A new establishment opening Oct. 15 in the East Village called 'Merica NYC will be serving a burger named after Donald Trump made out of cow butt.

Last week, Patch heard the story of 'Merica NYC's owners and the inspiration behind opening the restaurant. The themed restaurant will be making fun of kitschy Americana, or as owner Zach Neil called it, "we're gonna free the sh-it out of everyone" stuff. Assault weapons, sports memorabilia, antique guns and macho pop culture artifacts will be plastered everywhere, he told Patch.

It just came out Monday through Time Out NYC that the menu will be inspired by presidential candidates and past presidents, and the "T-Rump Mexican Burger" is getting top billing so far. It's a burger made of beef rump with pepperjack cheeses and a "wall" of grilled mushrooms, onions, and peppers.

The bar also plans to show presidential debates, host cultural debates for the neighborhood and hold weeks themed for different presidents and pop culture figures, Neil said.

There will be a George W. Bush week, a Bill Clinton week, a Barack Obama week, and there will, obviously, be a Chuck Norris week.

Neil wants the bar to be "the most American thing anyone can do" when they come to New York, he told Patch.
