Disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein has sold his tony New York City townhouse to a mystery buyer.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein sold his West Village home to a mystery buyer for $25.6 million, according to documents filed with the city.

Weinstein's townhouse, located at 13 Bank St., was sold to an unknown buyer in a deal that was completed on March 19, according to the documents, which were made available on Tuesday. The New York Post was first to report on the sale of Weinstein's home.

The now-disgraced Hollywood producer was fired from his eponymous company after dozens of women came forward to accuse him of sexual harassment, assault and rape. Police in London and New York City have said they are reviewing complaints against the producer.

Complaints against Weinstein first began in October, when the New York Times and the New Yorker published separate exposes detailing years of accusations from different women. Since then, additional women have come forward to accuse the producer of abuse and mistreatment. Weinstein has said he will seek treatment for a sex addiction. He has denied many of the women's allegations, and has specifically denied accusations of rape.

The wave of allegations against Weinstein have been credited with launching the #MeToo movement, which has seen people come forward with sexual harassment and assault accusations in multiple industries.
