HGTV Stars Buy A Pink Townhouse In Greenwich Village: Report
HGTV stars Robert and Cortney Novogratz are planning to renovate a pink, stucco townhouse on Waverly Place.
GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — HGTV stars Robert and Cortney Novogratz are moving to Greenwich Village, according to a report.
The designers known for their HGTV show "Home by Novogratz" bought a pink stucco townhouse previously owned by the late Celeste Martin, a former Rockette, the New York Post reported.
The Novogratzes are planning to renovate the dilapidated home at 114 Waverly Pl., just west of Washington Square Park, to move into, the Post reported.

Robert Novogratz told the Post, "Townhouses are back in vogue," adding that owners don't have to deal with board approval to rent out the townhomes like they would in a cooperative building.
The townhouse is more than 5,400-square-feet, and features 16-foot ceilings, according to the Post. It reportedly has leaks, peeling paint and was overrun with cats.

The previous owner Martin, well-known in the neighborhood, died last year. She owned a slew of other rent-stabilized buildings in the Village, sold to Gopher Group LLC after she died, the newspaper wrote.
