Huge Office Building Planned for 415 10th Ave.

The developer Related Companies has filed plans for a 900,000-square-foot building.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Developer Related Companies has filed plans for a gigantic office building at 415 10th Ave. as part of its 50 Hudson Yards development, according to the NYC Department of Buildings and real estate development website New York YIMBY.

The new building applications call for a 12-story, 256-foot-tall commercial development spanning 887,600 square feet. The sub-cellars and first two floors would be devoted to retail, followed by 10 stories of office space.

The filing appears to be only a portion the 50 Hudson Yards complex, which will provide 2.9 million square feet of office space.

The 58-story project will have entrances on 33rd Street, 34th Street, 10th Avenue and Hudson Park and Boulevard, as well as direct access to the Hudson Yards 7 train station.

And 50 Hudson Yards itself is only part of what the Hudson Yards website calls "the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States and the largest development in New York City since Rockefeller Center."
