The TikTok account, New York City Realtor, posted a video on Jan. 27 showing off a studio apartment in the West Village that leaves a whole lot to be desired.
Chiefly among them a toilet and oven, let alone a bathroom or kitchen.

The toilets and showers are both in communal spaces shared by the whole building.
The room still somehow costs $1,650 a month, according to the video.
The West Village is generally known as one of the most coveted neighborhoods in the city to live in, which also makes it one of the most expensive.
The TikTok video doesn't specify where the apartment is within the West Village, but the DailyMail reported that the studio is located at 5th Avenue and 11th Street.
The DailyMail isn't the only publication that's been interested in the tiny West Village apartment.
Since the video was posted, Buzzfeed, Fox, Yahoo, BroBible, and others have written about the barren room going for $1,650.
While the stories have been fun, nothing is better than the actual comments on the video.
"Harry's broom closet has more appeal than this," one commenter said in reference to the closet Harry Potter had as a room growing up.
"That's not an apartment, that's a compartment," another commenter wrote.
The comment section also wouldn't be complete without a COVID-19 reference.
"I just know the COVID is 30, flirty, and thriving in that building," a TikTok commenter wrote.
