West Village Real Estate: Derek Jeter's Former Townhouse Finally Sells
The townhouse has been on and off the market for the past six years.
WEST VILLAGE, NY —Derek Jeter’s former four-story West Village townhouse found a buyer after over six years on and off the market, Curbed reports. The 2,800-square-foot home at 56 Bank St. is now in contract, after it was most recently listed for $7.495 million by Sotheby’s International Realty broker Fred William in October.
Many A-listers have lived in the townhouse, including Yoko Ono, Lauren Bacall, and Alex Rodriguez, according to Curbed. Jeter rented the home for just a few years, and moved out in the spring of 2015.

The 20' wide townhouse was built in 1833 and was recently restored and thoroughly modernized, Realtor.com states. The home features a full-floor living room, two bedrooms and four-gas burning fireplaces throughout.
