Do you know which zip code comes with the highest price?

Forbes has compiled its annual list of America’s Most Expensive ZIP Codes and many Long Island postal codes have made the cut.

It seems that Long Island’s East End dominates the list of expensive zip codes with Sagaponack’s 11962 zip code leading the way as the No. 2 most expensive zip code in America. The median price of a home on the market in Sagaponack is $7,416,530. These homes typically stay on the market for an average of 111 days and the zip code has an active inventory of 37 homes on the market.

America’s most expensive zip code was found to be 94027, which belongs to Atherton, Calif. This West Coast zip code has an inventory of 20 homes on the market and a median home price of $10,564,038.

To determine which zip codes have the most money behind them, Forbes said housing market data provider Altos Research looked at single-family home price data for more than 95 percent of the U.S. population. Check out the full list here and the methodology here.
