3-Foot Turtle Sculpture Takes A Walk In Westhampton: Police

Police are looking for whoever stole this sculpture of a turtle from a Westhampton front yard.

WESTHAMPTON, NY — A 3-foot statue of a turtle weighing 30 lbs. took a walk in Westhampton recently — police are searching for whoever stole the artwork from a front yard sometime between March 19 and April 4.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Southampton Town Police Department are asking for the public’s help to find the thief who stole the green-and-bronze sculpture, valued at $800, from outside a residence on South Road.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
