Art Southampton Draws Thousands
The popular art fair took place in Water Mill earlier this month.
Art Southampton, the local contemporary and modern art fair presented by Art-Miami, took place for the fourth year in a row earlier this month.
The event, which took place from July 9 to July 13, drew a record 21,000 collectors, art enthusiasts, curators and art lovers to the pastoral grounds of Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill.
Attendees got to enjoy the array of contemporary artworks and installations, paintings, photography, prints, drawings, design, video art, and indoor and outdoor sculptures showcased by more than 80 international galleries at the fair.

Sales began almost immediately after the fair opened its doors to the two-tiered VIP Private Preview, which took place on July 7.
The preview event benefited the Parrish Art Museum and Southampton Hospital and set the tone for both the evening and the fair’s five-day duration.
