Belle Mead, Former Home Of Ford Models Founder, Sells For $9M+
Once a summer hangout for top models, the gorgeous Long Island estate was also featured in Martha Stewart's book "Weddings."

QUOGUE, NY — Belle Mead, reputed to be one of legendary architect Stanford White’s final masterpieces — and the former home of Ford Models founder Eileen — has sold for very close to the $9.875 million ask, according to Douglas Elliman.
The 104-year-old Greek Revival, located at 23 Shinnecock Road in Quogue, is sited on 3.5 acres, features 14,000 square feet of "gracious living space," and appeared in Martha Stewart’s book, “Weddings," Douglas Elliman said.
"High style abounds at the lovingly restored and opulent estate, which was commissioned by the Greeff textile family circa 1906," Douglas Elliman said. "Highlights of the property include manicured gardens, original specimen trees, heated Gunite pool and regulation Har-Tru tennis court. Interior amenities include 10 bedrooms, eight-and-a-half bathrooms, multiple fireplaces, library, drawing room and staff quarters."
