Division III Playoffs 'Kick Off' This Week

The Suffolk County Division III football playoffs kick off this week and promises to be a great round of action. The undefeated Miller Place Panthers grabbed the No. 1 seed and will host eighth-seeded Deer Park on Saturday at 1 p.m.  

Meanwhile, the Sayville varsity squad is sitting at the No. 7 seed in the division. That means the Golden Flashes will be traveling to Islip on Friday night at 7 p.m. to take on the No. 2 seed in the division.

It was an off year for Rocky Point and Westhampton Beach as the two Division III teams failed to reach the tournament.
