Doctor Donates $1 Million To East End Hospice
East End Hospice will rename its bereavement center in recognition of a recent $1 million donation from Stanley Zinberg, MD.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — A caring physician has donated $1 million to East End Hospice, which will rename its bereavement center in his honor.
Stanley Zinberg, MD, and his late wife, Peggy McNally Zinberg, began supporting East End Hospice in 2009 — and the newly named Zinberg Family Bereavement Center offers individual and group therapy programs for adults and children as they grapple with the profound loss of a loved one.
“With his gift, Dr. Zinberg is leading the way in our community to address the unprecedented level of loss resulting from COVID-19 and support the growing numbers of adults and children who are navigating the loss of a loved one,” said Mary C. Crosby, EEH president and CEO. “We’re honored to recognize the Zinberg family and celebrate their more-than-a-decade-long relationship with East End Hospice.”

“My family and I have been proud to support East End Hospice for many years,” Zinberg added. “We know personally and from the experiences of friends and neighbors that their care for terminally ill patients is impeccable. That they extend their services to families and individuals out in the community, as well as those whose loved one received hospice care, is to be commended. East End Hospice is a true community resource.”
The family bereavement center, established in 2014, was created as an expansion of East End Hospice’s bereavement services, which have been offering support to grieving adults, children, and families since 1991.
