Earth Day Honored At Hampton Bays Elementary School

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Children in Hampton Bays Elementary School participated in a variety of activities to celebrate Earth Day, which took place on Thursday.

Krista Savino’s class discussed ways students can make a difference and help heal the earth, while Jeanine Pesce’s class read books on caring about the earth. Children also used their Spanish language skills to write about what they can do to improve the environment, the district said.
