Guild Hall to Host Annual Clothesline Art Sale This Saturday

Guild Hall will be hosting their annual Clothesline Art Sale this weekend.

The event will take place at the hall on 158 Main Street in East Hampton from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Guild Hall has been hosting the community event, which showcases original works by East End artists, since 1946.

Nearly 400 artists enter the sale each year, with their work attracting thousands of art lovers looking for the next de Kooning, Prince, or Sherman.

Works range in price from $50 to $2,000, with all proceeds split 50/50 between the artist and Guild Hall.

Proceeds from the sale benefit Guild Hall of East Hampton.

Admission to the event is free and extra parking will be available at the corner of Maidstone and James Lane.
