Hampton Bays Man Charged With DWI: Police
He was caught driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction within 10 years, and also circumventing an interlock device, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays man was charged with driving while intoxicated earlier in May, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Marcos Ochoasbonilla, 35, was arrested on May 2 at 3:30 a.m. on Peconic Rd. in Hampton Bays and charged with driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction; aggravated DWI: per se .18 of 1% or more alcohol with a prior conviction within 10 years; aggravated unlicensed operation, alcohol or drugs; failure to use the designated lane; speed not reasonable or prudent; moving from lane unsafely; circumventing an interlock device and operating a motor vehicle without the device; and driving without a license.
Ochoasbonilla was seen traveling at a high rate of speed and failing to use his designated lane of travel near Peconic Rd. and Montauk Hwy; he was subsequently stopped for the traffic infractions and further investigation revealed that he was operating his vehicle while intoxicated, police said.

He was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
