Hampton Bays Water District Commissioners To Meet

The proposed 10-year capital improvement plan for the Hampton Bays Water District will be presented by consultants; public is welcome.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY —The Hampton Bays Water District Commissioners, also the Southampton town board, will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Community Center on Ponquogue Avenue.

The public is invited to attend the meeting where the proposed 10-year capital improvement plan for the Hampton Bays Water District will be presented by consultants William Merklin, P.E., senior vice president, D&B Engineers and Architects, PC, the town said.

Financial impacts will be discussed with Southampton Town Comptroller Leonard Marchese and the senior management team with the Hampton Bays Water District will participate in a panel discussion and take questions from the audience, a release said.

The meeting was organized as an opportunity for customers of the Hampton Bays Water District to learn more about the proposed efforts to ensure clean and safe water for the community, the town said.
