Man Charged With DWI After East Quogue Crash: Police
The crash took place Saturday evening, police say.
EAST QUOGUE, NY — An East Quogue man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash Saturday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the crash took place at 6:02 p.m. on Old Country Road and Gleason Drive; Evan A. Gilks, 27, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, police said.
Gilks was processed and held for morning arraignment; no injuries were reported, police said.
