Men Charged With Cocaine Possession At Hamptons Nightclub: PD

Both men are facing felony charges after being arrested at a Hampton Bays nightclub, police say.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Two men were arrested after they were caught with cocaine at a Hampton Bays nightclub early Sunday, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, at 12:40 a.m., officers from the community response unit arrested Carlos Lima-Rojas, 25, 0f Shirley and Jonathan Vigo, 26, of Mastic at the Dream nightclub located on Canal Road. An officer saw Vigo littering from a vehicle in the parking lot; upon further investigation, the men were found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine, police said.

Both were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, police said.

Vigo was additionally charged with a town code violation for littering; both men were held for arraignment, police said.
