Theodore A. Fell, 94 of Stuart, Florida and Westhampton Beach, NY, passed away peacefully on August 31.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Durham. He is survived by his son John Keith (Mary Ellen) and his daughter, Sabina Fell McCarthy (Joseph Sherman). Also survived by eight grandchildren, Sam and Teddy McCarthy, Elizabeth Karl (Bradford), Alexandra, Evan, Keith, Katherine and Charlie Fell.
He was born in New York City on February 13, 1920 and graduated Stuyvesant High School. After school he worked for Arthur Murray as a dance instructor. He joined the Aviation Cadet Program and served heroically as a pilot and intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force. After the war, he began a long and illustrious career in the apparel industry. In 1966 he became President and partner with Sidney Gould in the It’s Pure Gould Co. which was later acquired by Interco. Ted served as CEO and became a member of the Operating Board of Directors until 1985. Ted was a long time member of the Cherry Valley Club (Garden City), Westhampton Country Club and Mariner Sands Country Club (Stuart, FL).

A memorial was held on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at the Westhampton Country Club.
