Police: Riverhead Pizzeria Robbed at Gunpoint

Employees at Uncle Joe’s Pizzeria in Riverhead reported a robbery around 8 p.m. on May 12, according to Riverhead Police.

According to the report, employees stated an unknown black male had robbed the 12 W. Main Street pizzeria at gunpoint. They said the man entered through the rear door, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money. He was reportedly given the money and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’ to 6’2” tall, wearing a black, hooded jacket and dark colored pants. The subject also had his face covered with a bandana.
