State Police Coach 'Future Troopers' Youth Basketball Team

New York State Police Captain David Candelaria and Trooper Anthony Preston coached the “Future Troopers” youth basketball team from Hampton Bays last Thursday.

The “Future Troopers” from Hampton Bays is the first team in New York State to be sponsored by the Trooper Foundation under the newly created New York State Police Youth Program. T

he purpose of this program is for the New York State Police to mentor area youths and build better relationships with the communities.
