Suffolk Cops: Drunken Driver from Westhampton Beach Slams into a House

A Westhampton Beach man, allegedly driving drunk, drove his car into a Mastic Beach house early on Sunday morning, according to Newsday.

Suffolk County police said Israel Hernandez, who is 21, hit a house at 51 Silver Rd. with a 1992 Honda Civic just before 5 a.m. The car hit a wall, attached to a garage, and also damaged a pickup truck and a travel trailer in the driveway.

The house is at the end of an intersection.

Hernandez was charged with DWI.
