Teens of Southampton Youth Bureau Identify Cigarette Butt Litter

Southampton Youth Advisory Committee partnered with Tobacco Action Coalition at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays to demonstrate the pervasiveness of cigarette butt beach litter by identifying and marking cigarette butt litter on the beach. Several youth scanned the beach and placed a flag anywhere they found a discarded cigarette butt left behind by beachgoers.
