Winners of Westhampton Beach Science Fair Announced
Congratulations to all the winners who will have the opportunity to compete at Brookhaven National Lab.
Westhampton Beach Elementary School students showed off their science smarts at their school’s 17th annual Math, Science and Technology Fair, which was held on March 26.
The science fair featured numerous science projects, including topics that explored buoyancy, astrology, cleaning products, bridge building and crystals.
This year’s fair winners were: first grader Lily Bonawandt; second grader Patrick Fay; second grader Lily Pereyra; third grader Jane Atkinson; fourth grader Reilly Atkinson; and fifth grader Selena Pereyra.

The winning students now have the opportunity to compete at Brookhaven National Lab on May 2.
