Voters in the White Plains school district will be going to the polls Tuesday. Here's what you need to know.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Voters around Westchester County will be going to the polls Tuesday to approve their school district's budget, including the White Plains district.

Also on the ballot are elections for school board members.

In the White Plains school district, voters are being asked to approve a $229.6 million budget for the 2021-22 school year. That represents a budget decrease of 1.55 percent and a 1.23 percent increase in the property tax levy.

Three trustee seats are up for election. The candidates are Raina Kadavil and incumbents James F. Hricay, Cayne Letizia and Rose Lovitch.
