ACCESS Nursing Services Celebrates Pride Month

ACCESS Nursing Celebrates Pride Month and our Spirit of Inclusion and Diversity

We’re proud of our ACCESS Nursing team, many of whom represent many different cultures, backgrounds, and viewpoints. And we are standing in solidarity this month to celebrate Pride Month and our LGBTQ team members. ACCESS Nursing’s 36-year record of success and growth was built by a diverse employee team and a culture of acceptance and inclusion throughout our company. This compassionate, respectful culture of ours is one that we extend to all of our patients and clients, many who are members of the LGBTQ+ community.

We recognize the health disparities that exist for LGBTQ people and as a result, we see many individuals in this community choosing to avoid seeking medical attention, especially when there is a need. We strive to support the diverse backgrounds and ideas of all of our clients, staff. Many of our LGBTQ+ patients report that they’ve experienced a feeling of discomfort or unacceptance by their healthcare provider. So, we’ve compiled this list of “LGBTQ positive” medical providers, which can often make a critical difference regarding an individual’s mental and physical health.
