City Bloomingdale's Offering Renovated Dining Space

Bloomingdale’s White Plains is proud to debut a newly reinvented La Provence, the much loved destination for an American twist on familiar bistro fair.

From floor to ceiling, La Provence has a fresh new look offering a more modern, yet still French country feeling. Diners will enjoy light oak wood flooring with black/tan/sage green ceramic tile inserts giving an overall lighter feel to the space; timbered walls painted sage green with a unique wired brush applique offering an "antique look”.

Other walls are coated in chalkboard paint where menu specials and highlights will be posted; also new are a dramatic series of four round banquettes upholstered in green faux leather going down the center of the restaurant with large bronze chandeliers overhead; new additional banquettes upholstered in grey faux leather with a mix of black, as well as black/white striped backs, lining the perimeter of the restaurant; new recessed lighting for improved ambiance.

Diners can also expect to find almost 20 new and delicious menu options. Highlights include a crab cake sandwich, chicken paillard salad, grilled flat bread, lobster mac & cheese, and a porterhouse pork chop.

To celebrate the newly designed spaced, La Provence will be offering diners the chance to win dinner for 10 at the Chef’s Table by sharing your favorite La Provence memory (entry forms available at La Provence or email your memory to laprovencewp@bloomingdales.com), also kids under 10 eat free with the purchase of one adult entrée (offer valid through 10/21/12). 

This opening is part a suite of restaurant updates at Bloomingdale’s in the metro New York City area this fall including a recently opened Forty Carrots at Bloomingdale’s Roosevelt Field (NY) and  full-line Forty Carrots at Bloomingdale’s in The Mall at Short Hills (Short Hills, NJ).
