WESTCHESTER  -- Morton’s The Steakhouse is raising a glass to its new “Spa-Tinis,” a collection of high-flavor, low-calorie cocktails designed with the health conscious consumer in mind. Created by Morton’s Vice President of Wine & Spirits Tylor Field, III, Certified Sommelier Sara Fasolino and Master Mixologist Francesco LaFranconi, Spa-Tinis will be available at each of Morton’s domestic locations and feature only the finest natural ingredients to minimize sugar and calories without compromising taste.

Featured cocktails on the new Spa-Tini menu include the Skynny Blood Orange Cosmo with Skyy Blood Orange Vodka, Monin Sugar Free Triple Sec, lime juice and cranberry juice; Skinny Rita made with Patron Silver, Monin Agave Nectar and fresh lime juice; Lean and Green with Ty Ku Soju, Monin Agave nectar, lime juice and mint leaves; Antioxidant Me with Absolut Acai Vodka, Monin Super Fruit Puree, pomegranate juice and fresh lime and Red Velvet with Lindemans Framboise Lambic, Lunetta Prosecco and Chambord. Each Spa-Tini cocktail will be priced at $14.

"The Spa-Tini's were created to offer our guest a lower calorie alternative to some of their favorite drinks as well as develop some fresh new flavor profiles,” says Tylor Field, III. “I believe the Spa-Tini’s enhance our already stellar menu of hand crafted signature drinks.”

Recipes for each cocktail include:

Skynny Blood Orange Cosmo

  • 1.25 oz Skyy Blood Orange Vodka
  • 1 oz Ty Ku Soju
  • 0.5 oz Monin Sugar Free Triple Sec
  • 0.5 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1.0 oz cranberry juice
  • Method: Shake ingredients 25 times with ice. Strain into a martini glass.
  • Garnish: Orange Slice on Rim
  • Glass: Martini

Antioxidant Me

  • 1.5 oz Absolut Açai Vodka
  • 0.5 oz Monin Superfruit Puree (well shaken)
  • 1 oz Pom Pomegranate Juice
  • 0.5 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • Method: Shake ingredients 25 times with ice. Strain into a martini glass.
  • Garnish: 2 raspberries on a pick placed inside the glass.
  • Glass: Martini

Lean and Green

  • 1.5 oz Ty Ku Soju
  • 0.5 Monin Agave Nectar
  • 1.5 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 oz. Soda Water
  • 10 mint leaves
  • Method: Shake ingredients 25 times with ice. Double strain into a Champagne flute.
  • Garnish: Small cucumber wheel (1/4” thick) on rim.
  • Glass: Champagne

The Red Velvet

  • 2 oz. Lindemans Framboise Lambic
  • 4 oz. Lunetta Prosecco
  • .5 oz Chambord
  • Method: Roll ingredients in Boston Shaker with ice and strain into Champagne flute.
  • Garnish: 1 raspberry on clear pick over the top. Twist lemon twist over drink and discard twist.
  • Should be served with a foam cap.
  • Glass: Champagne

Skinny Rita

  • 1.75 oz Patrón Silver Tequila
  • 1 oz Monin Agave Nectar
  • .5 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • .5 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • Method: Shake ingredients 25 times with ice. Strain into a martini glass.
  • Garnish: Lime Wedge.
  • Glass: Martini
