Take the Test to Join the White Plains Fire Dep't

The City of White Plains is actively seeking a diverse pool of candidates for the March 9, 2013 Fire Fighter Civil Service Exam.

The salary range is $54,965 to $86,179 and the exam is open to Westchester County residents. White Plains residents will be given preference inappointment.

Interested applicants must submit an application by no later than Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 5 p.m. A printable version of the application is available on the City’s website. Applications may also be obtained at:

Completed applications should be submitted to one of the above locations or mailed to the City of White Plains Personnel Department.

Free training will be offered for both the written and physical agility portions of the exam. The date and location of the training will be sent to approved applicants.
