Annual Mah Jongg Tournament to Benefit People Living with Cancer

Gilda's Club Westchester Hosts "Hybrid" Event: Mah Jongg, Canasta, And Bridge Invitational

Tuesday, June 1st-Sunday, June 6th at the venue of player’s choice

WHAT: Hybrid is the new buzz word this spring and this Mah Jongg fundraiser is no different! Gilda’s Club Westchester is hosting a Mah Jongg, Canasta, and Bridge Invitational where players choose their own venue: either in their home, country club, local park, beach, etc. and connect their microevents virtually and through photos.

Scarsdale residents, Wendy Kleinman and Jodi Shapiro have raised approximately $100,000 per year since launching their Mah Jongg Invitational event more than 12 years ago, in honor of their mothers, who both lost their lives to cancer. This annual event helps to fund free programs offered by Gilda's Club Westchester for people living with cancer, and their families and friends.

* Cost per player is $125.00; All donations go to Gilda’s Club Westchester to support its free programs and activities for people living with cancer.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 1st to Sunday, June 6th

REGISTRATION: Registration is currently open on the Gilda’s Club Westchester website.

WHO: Gilda’s Club Westchester, located in White Plains, is the leading regional resource for social and emotional support for people living with cancer, along with their friends and family. Membership and activities are open to all and free of charge.
