Con Edison Is Conducting A Natural Gas Detector & Natural Gas Service Line Inspection Program In White Plains

Con Edison is currently conducting Natural Gas Detector and Natural Gas Service Line Inspection program at customer premises. This is a requirement of the New York State Public Service Commission.

The Natural Gas Service Line Inspection is designed to inspect the gas line and meter to check for corrosion and leaks. These inspections generally take approximately 15 minutes to perform. If a leak is found on customer piping that cannot be repaired during the visit, the gas service will be disconnected until repairs are made by a licensed plumber.
