PGA Senior Tour Trophy on Display at Morton's

GET AN UP CLOSE LOOK AT THE OFFICIAL SAM SNEAD PGA SENIOR TOUR TROPHY AT MORTON'S STEAKHOUSE IN WHITE PLAINS THIS WEEK ONLY!

WESTCHESTER/June 7, 2011 -- Today through Sunday June 12, come over to Morton's The Steakhouse and get an up-close look at the official Sam Snead Trophy, awarded annually to the winner of the Constellation Energy Senior Players PGA Championship. The trophy, named in honor of the player with the most wins in PGA TOUR history, San Snead, will be awarded on August 21 at Westchester Country Club at the conclusion of the four day tournament. It is comprised of two hand-carved pieces of Waterford Crystal, and the bowl is etched with 18 greens and appropriately numbered flags.

The Trophy will be at Morton's The Steakhouse from June 7 through 12 at 9 Maple Avenue in White Plains after which it will move around to other restaurants throughout Westchester.  For more information call 914-683-6101.

Individual daily and weekly tickets to the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship to take place at Westchester Country Club in August are now on sale. Those wishing to purchase tickets may do so by logging on to the official tournament website, www.ceseniorplayers.com. A single-day grounds ticket is just $20 plus tax and fees.

“We are excited to bring championship golf back to Westchester Country Club and the surrounding community,” said Executive Tournament Director Steve Schoenfeld. “We know the area enjoyed having the PGA TOUR here for over 40 years, and many of the current Champions Tour players have played here over the years and are looking forward to returning.”

The PGA TOUR and Morton's Restaurant Group, Inc. (NYSE: MRT) have announced that they have entered a new marketing partnership beginning in 2011 that designates Morton's The Steakhouse as "The Official Steakhouse of the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour." This marks Morton's first official league-wide sports partnership.

Morton's has worked with individual athletes in many sports to create Celebrity Server events and auctions to benefit charitable initiatives. The PGA TOUR and Morton's are assembling a schedule of events involving players that will be held in conjunction with tournaments and will benefit those events' charities or those players' charitable foundations. There will also be a series of special events and experiences at TPC courses throughout the country. Tour members will also receive special dining benefits from Morton's.
