White Plains Middle School and The Ritz-Carlton Host Bake Sale for 'Pajama Program'

On Friday Oct. 28 students from White Plains Middle School (WPMS with help from the ladies and gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester will host a bake sale whose proceeds will benefit the Pajama Program.

The bake sale will take place from 12:30pm to 1:30pm directly outside on Main Street in White Plains.

This is the second year that the hotel and school will partner to raise money for this charity, which provides new, warm pajamas and new books to children in need nationwide. Last year, the sale raised $620.

The sixth, seventh and eighth graders from WPMS will decorate cookies, cupcakes and other baked goods that the hotel’s pastry staff will prepare.

“We are pleased to partner with White Plains Middle School to benefit such a great cause,” said Pamela Aoun, Human Resources Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. “We are committed to helping the community and the bake sale will give others an opportunity to join us and help out as well.”

The bake sale is part of the hotel’s Community Footprints program.
