Former AT&T Building Gets Tax Incentives
The development was OK'd by the Common Council last month.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester County has given more than $5 million in tax incentives to develop the former AT&T building in White Plains. The project at 440 Hamilton Ave. received approval from the city to turn the office building into luxury rental apartments and retail space.
The tax breaks, amounting to $5,021,030, will be provided to developer Rose Associates, the Journal News said.
The existing building will have 255 apartments and a separate, yet-to-be-built structure will have 213 units.
