Local High School Basketball Game to Air on MSG Varsity
One of three games Jan. 8 between White Plains' Stepinac High School and New Rochelle's Iona Prep to be on the sports channel.

The 7:30 p.m. varsity basketball game Jan. 8 between the Archbishop Stepinac High School Crusaders and the Iona Prep Gaels will air live on the sports channel MSG Varsity, according to Stepinac officials.
The game, which will be at Stepinac in White Plains, is one of three scheduled for the 8th, as part of a tripleheader in the historic rivalry between the two schools.
The games start 4 p.m. when the freshmen teams square off, followed by a junior varsity game at 5:45 p.m. The varsity squads tip off at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are being sold at the main offices at Stepinac and Iona starting today; $5 for adults and $2 for students with a school ID and children under 12. At Stepinac, tickets will be available between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. through Friday, or if they sell out earlier.
Each ticket is for all three games. However, fans are advised that there will be no re-entry if they leave the building during the tripleheader and that the “no ticket, no entrance” policy will be strictly enforced.
