Man Accused of Smashing Apartment Windows
Police say the man was intoxicated and fell down while trying to run away. This report does not indicate a conviction.

A Peekskill man was arrested early Saturday morning after police say he smashed in four windows in a Cleveland St. apartment then fell down while trying to run from police.
Oscar Lucero, 24, of 930 Diven St., had just finished tossing rocks through two windows and kicking out two others at an apartment at 50 Cleveland St. when police arrived, an arrest report said. Police say Lucero ran into the street when they arrived just after 3 a.m., forcing a vehicle to swerve to avoid hitting him.
Lucero, who appeared intoxicated according to an arrest report, tripped and fell nearby. Police placed the Peekskill man under arrest, later charging him with criminal mischief, a felony, tresspass, a violation, and disorderly conduct, a violation.
