Man Fights in Middle of White Plains Street, is Later Caught with Drugs: Cops

Ohio man faces misdemeanor charge, two violations.

An Ohio man visiting White Plains last Saturday was arrested after punching out another man and being caught with a slew of drugs, cops said.

The man—a 26-year-old Cincinnati resident—was spotted standing in the middle of Mamaroneck Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. by cops, police said—he then punched another man in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Police arrested the attacker and transported him to headquarters, where they found a handful of illegal pills in his wallet, police said. The man also had two marijuana joint stashed in a cigarette box, authorities added.

The Ohio man was charged with criminal possession of a criminal substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations.
