Disruptive Man Arrested at St. Patrick's Day Parade, Police Say

Man refused to clear out after St. Patrick's Day Parade, police said.

A 28-year-old Pleasantville man is facing two disorderly conduct charges after refusing police requests to clear out after Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day parade in White Plains.

Authorities asked the man step off the sidewalk adjacent to Mamaroneck Avenue at about 7 p.m. in an effort to thin the crowds—but the man stood his ground, shouting, “No! I know my rights!” police said. The two women he was with listened to cops, authorities noted.

Police suggested the man may be drunk, and began to walk him away from the bars, but the man soon stopped and hollered, “I don’t have to go anywhere,” cops said.
