Partial Closure As Heavy Rain Floods Parkway: Update

Partial closure remained on the Bronx River Parkway.

4:42 p.m. — Westchester County officials reported the Hutchinson and Saw Mill river parkways had reopened after flooding during Sunday's heavy rain. The Bronx River Parkway remained partially closed.


WHITE PLAINS, NY — The Westchester County Department of Public Safety posted a notice about lane closures on three parkways due to heavy rain at 1:40 p.m. Sunday.

The Bronx River Parkway is partially closed due to flooding between the Sprain Parkway and the County Center. The public works department is responding.

The Hutchinson River Parkway is partially closed: northbound lanes are closed at North Avenue due to flooding under Mill Road. The Department of Transportation is responding.

The Saw Mill River Parkway is partially closed southbound between Ravensdale and Farragut.
